My apologies for the sudden surge in downtime recently on the server, and the website.
According to gottaname, we are being attacked by a massive DDoS targeted at acro’s parent network, AXGN, which we are hosted on.

Gottaname has given me a downtime minimum window of 48 hours of which we will be moving to starhub’s anti DDOS network, or so he said. Please expect sudden outrages in the next 48 hours and i hope we can get back to normal ASAP.

Will try to keep everyone updated to the best of my knowledge.

Starting some time on Sunday, the IP address of the acRO server will be changing. Sorry, I know it's a nuissance.

The new IP address will be 203.116.63.88. The port will not change. A new sclientinfo.xml file will be made available for download, or users who know how to edit the file may do so directly. If you need to know how to edit the file, check this forum post. There will be no roll-backs or other losses.

<Edit: This should no longer be required, as the client updater should now replace the sclientinfo.xml file automatically.>

A happy birthday to the Callisto server, and the changes previously outlined have been implemented.

You can find a summary of some of the things that have changed here. Also, if you have the old client you'll need to go here to get it updated to continue playing. New players can start using the full client as provided in the "acRO Startup Guide" section, linked on the left menu of the site. Enjoy, and all that.

Come August 21st, the anniversary of acRO's Callisto server, we will be making a number of significant changes to the server, as well as updating features across the board and providing full functionality for the V4 client, as has been and will be available for download from the site.
